Accessibility Statement

Forteris Risk and Compliance Group is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Last updated: May 22, 2026

Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the current consensus standard for digital accessibility in the United States and is the standard referenced by U.S. courts in ADA Title III matters.

Forteris has designed this website with accessibility in mind from the ground up, rather than as an afterthought. Specific measures we have taken include:

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and a consistent heading hierarchy;
  • A "Skip to main content" link visible to keyboard users;
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements;
  • Color contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG AA standards across all text;
  • ARIA labels and roles on navigation, buttons, and decorative elements;
  • Text alternatives for images and meaningful icons;
  • Support for the prefers-reduced-motion setting, which honors users who have indicated a preference for reduced motion in their device settings;
  • A responsive design that scales properly up to 200% zoom without loss of content or functionality;
  • Standard HTML form controls and links — no overlays, widgets, or automated "accessibility tools" that may interfere with assistive technology.

Limitations and ongoing work

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be limitations or areas of the website that are not yet fully conformant. We are committed to continual improvement and welcome feedback that helps us identify and resolve issues.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website, please let us know so we can address it. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days.
